We are living in an era of crisis. In 2022, the world is facing soaring inflation, rising cost of living and post-pandemic supply chain problems. 

As we rebuild and recover from these serious challenges, there is a chance to reflect on how our sector can improve the financial health and resilience of the most vulnerable in society.

There has been a huge amount of progress made on financial inclusion over the past decade, with the number of unbanked people dropping from 2.5 billion in 2011 to 1.4 billion last year. 

As we move forward, is there a chance to use Open Banking and Finance to welcome even more people into the financial system?
