Hakan Eroglu is the Global Open Banking & Open Data Lead, Data & Services at Mastercard. He is an expert for Open Data and Services Ecosystems, Open Banking Regulation, API Standardization, Instant and Frictionless Payments. Hakan is a recognized thought leader in his area of expertise. He brings more than 11 years of project experience in shaping Open Banking strategies, building API-based uses cases and business models, and designing digital payment schemes in Europe, MEA, Latin America and Asia.

Hakan joins Mastercard from Accenture and is a board member of the Berlin Group NextGenPSD2 Advisory Board, the Swiss Commission for Financial Standardization (SKSF), the Open Banking Working Group of the Euro Banking Association (EBA) and author of articles and consultations on Open Banking and Fintechs.

Hakan holds a German Diploma degree in Computer Sciences from Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany. He lives in Zurich.
