Jo has worked as a dedicated retail financial services lawyer since qualifying in 2002. During that time, Jo has gained diverse experience of the retail financial services sector including banking and finance litigation, consumer finance regulation as well as working in-house as the Head of UK Legal for U.S based consumer lending group. Jo has also spent time on secondment with a number of retail finance providers.

Jo is described as a “Standout performer in consumer finance matters” Rising Star, Legal 500, 2021.  She is also ranked for Consumer Finance in Chambers and Partners and is noted for a strong reputation among banking and consumer credit clients for her regulatory expertise.
