Mark is the founding partner of BankiFi, a technology provider that uses open banking to help small businesses plug into banking infrastructure through APIs. The company is backed by British building society Nationwide where Mark previously served as an advisor to the Board.

An Open Banking pioneer, Mark was previously Chief Innovation Officer at Clear2Pay where he invented the firm’s Open Payment Framework, the world’s leading Payment Services Hub used by 40 of the world’s largest banks and financial institutions. He was also a strategic advisor to Nordea on PSD2 and Open Banking.
