Ladies and Gentlemen – Open Banking Pioneers

I can’t wait to light the campfire and to see you all again this Thursday, 26 September for our evening on premium APIs, which we are hosting at the request of Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE).

OBIE Commercial API Director Huw Davies, who most of you know, will be hosting our panel of industry experts. We have Google, Token, Salt Edge, Citi and Moneyhub speaking, so you’re in for high-quality industry insight and a big treat! We’ll be sharing speakers’ BIOs and more details about the evening and other exciting news on LinkedIn and Twitter.

Our friends from Equinix, The home of Open Banking Excellence, have exciting things to share too, but I won’t steal their thunder.

OBE news

OBE is a community created with and for you. It’s a friendly place to share your stories, learn from fellow Open Banking pioneers and spark debate.

For all this to work well, we need as many different voices to be represented and heard in the room as possible. Please don’t be shy this Thursday evening. Our diversity makes our community special! And an open, no-holds-barred debate will make a good evening great.

During October we will be launching our new app, which is an important milestone and a proud moment we’d love to share with you all. Showcasing collaboration with some of the trailblazers from our community, we want to shine a light on the many talented individuals in our network and innovative projects within the Open Banking ecosystem.

When we asked you what you’d like from your OBE app, you wanted us to create a platform for more effective networking, a faster and easier way of finding experts in the field and an Open Banking resource hub, which we called the Library of Learning. You will hear more about our collaborative karma on Thursday.

I’m often asked to source Open Banking talent and without missing a beat I always recommend from our community. We’re brimming with it. With our new app, finding talented individuals will become so much easier. In the meantime, if you have a project and require quality human resources, please let me know and I’d be delighted to help you.

Some of you know that we have a new member on The London Calling Team. Jeff from Blue Train Marketing will be filming our speakers so we can build up our Library of Learning and share the content with our rapidly growing community and those who were unable to join our evening.

We will also be trying something new… We’ll be filming impromptu comments from you during the evening. Standby you, budding Open Banking media stars! Now’s your time to shine!
