The next 12 months will be pivotal for the Open Banking movement as we transition to a framework for the long term future.
Last year, JROC set out a roadmap for the next phase of Open Banking in the UK, creating working groups to focus on a number of key themes including consumer protection, financial crime, variable recurring payments (VRP) and a future Open Banking entity.
In 2024, we will see the recommendations evolve into action. Ahead of us is the opportunity to ensure the UK remains a world leader.
To assess the state of play and provide guidance for all players in the ecosystem, we’ll gather regulators and industry pioneers around our virtual Campfire for a very important and timely discussion.
We’ll be sharing exclusive updates on the JROC process, talking through the next steps for Open Banking and working out how to overcome obstacles on the horizon.
