2023 will go down as the year the UK got its second wind on open data. We’ve seen the reinvigoration of Open Banking through the progress JROC has made coupled with progress on reforming the credit information market and the Digital Information and Data Protection Bill that paves the way for Open Finance. All the while, we’ve seen institutional players doing their part bringing new “beyond the mandate” services to market and getting ahead of the curve in areas like digital ID. 

Six months on from our last Campfire In The Clouds event, we’re re-convening the community to look back at what we’ve achieved and to look forward to next term to get a sense of what else 2023 has in store.
